Treesnaps: Greening Bathurst Photographic Competition

Entry Conditions

Thanks for your interest in entering Treesnaps 2008! We’re encouraging everybody to take a closer look at the natural beauty that surrounds us all, in particular some of the amazing trees in and around Bathurst.

Whether you are a budding young photographer, or just amazed at how good the camera on your mobile phone is, turn the lens toward your favourite tree, click away and send us your best image. Let your creativity loose!

The best images win cash!

There’s one winner, one second place and room for highly commended in each category.

There will also be an overall winner for:
Most creative approach	Prize $50
Judges favourite – just because	Prize $50

Here’s what we need to know:

Your story – up to 50 words max on “Why I snapped this tree”

You can e-mail your image and the details listed above to photocomp@greeningbathurst.org.au or drop them in to the Conservation Volunteers Australia office at 179 George St. (Opposite the amazing trees in Machettie Park!)

Read the conditions below to find out what we’re looking for.

1. Entrants must be enrolled in schools of the Bathurst region. Basically that means the Local Government Area but if you’re really keen and slightly further away you’re still welcome.
2. Max 3 entries per person.
3. In submitting your photos you are agreeing that Greening Bathurst can use the images in publications and promotions and that we can publish the image with your name attached.
4. Winners will be contacted via their school and may be invited to appear at an award presentation.
5. Entries close Friday 5th September.
